The tale of the Christmas Spider
In German and Ukrainian folklore Spiders are a traditional part of Christmas decor. The tale has different variations but tells of a poor widow who was unable to afford to decorate the Christmas Tree for her children. While they sept on Christmas Eve the spiders in the home crawled into the tree and spun their webs, and when the family opened the curtains the next morning the sunlight light shown in on the webs turning them silver and gold. This is the origin of tinsel on the tree and the Christmas Spider.

Size
The spider tree topper is 6.25x7x1" (160x180x25mm) and has a 0.7" (18mm) hole right through to mount on a tree.
The spider ornaments are 2.5x2.75x0.5" (65x70x10mm) with a hook at the top for hanging.

Materials & Process
Layer by layer, these tree toppers are 3D printed using Marble-like PLA (polylactic acid), a biodegradable and bioactive thermoplastic aliphatic polyester derived from renewable resources, such as corn starch.

Disclaimer
The 3D printing process is not perfect, so there may be blemishes in the surface finishes and visible layer lines. Items will not be exactly as pictured, and as much as we try to take colour-accurate photos, the colour may be slightly different than viewed on your screen.
