These watermelons are 3D printed in multiple colors using PLA, a biodegradable and bioactive thermoplastic aliphatic polyester derived from renewable resources such as corn starch and sugar cane. Our test planters have been sitting on our patio for over 5 years now with no degradation in quality; through the freezing cold of Canadian winters and the blazing sun of our summers.
